Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (February 21, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Bennett Valley Road near Matanzas Creek Lane on Friday afternoon.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the fatal motorcycle collision happened around 4:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a motorcyclist collided with a driver in a BMW that turned in front of him on Bennett Valley Road.
 
According to an investigation, the rider was heading westbound on Bennett Valley Road when the eastbound BMW turned in front of him. Due to the nature of the crash, the man suffered fatal injuries and died not long after.
 
At this time, CHP officers are withholding the name due to pending notification of his family members. If anyone has more information on this crash, please call the CHP.
