Man Dies in San Clemente Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway

 
SAN CLEMENTE, CA (September 8, 2021) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on the 5 Freeway near El Camino Real Monday morning.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident occurred around 10:14 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 2010 Harley-Davidson collided with a 2008 Ford Explorer, driven by a 35-year-old San Clemente man.
 
At some point, a 2012 Honda Civic, carrying four people from Austin, Texas, became involved in the collision, as well.
 
Due to the nature of the accident, the 65-year-old male motorcyclist from Kansas City, Miss., died in the accident. Per reports, neither the two 27-year-olds nor the female driver and passenger in the Honda sustained injury.
