Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Hemet

 
HEMET, CA (August 29, 2022) – A man died in a hit-and-run crash on Stetson Avenue in unincorporated area of Hemet late Thursday evening, August 25.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:55 p.m. in the 41000 of Stetson Avenue at Columbia Street. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a gray Honda sedan struck him.
 
After striking the man, the driver of the sedan did not stop to render aid.
 
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics reached the location within a few minutes and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
At this time, an investigation is still ongoing.
