Man Dies in Buena Park Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Western Avenue

 
BUENA PARK, CA (May 4, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Western Avenue near Orangethorpe Avenue on Tuesday.
 
According to Buena Park police officers, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 9:50 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a blue midsize SUV sped away after hitting a man on the road.
 
Soon after, paramedics and Buena Park police officers responded to the scene to assess the situation.
 
However, despite efforts to save the victim, paramedics declared the victim dead at the scene. Authorities have not identified the man killed in this crash.
