Man Dies in Vista Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Sycamore Avenue

 
VISTA, CA (August 16, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Sycamore Avenue and Green Oak Road Friday night.
 
According to Sheriff’s Lt. Daniel Vengler, the fatal accident happened around 9:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in what deputies believe was a light brown early 2000s Chevrolet Tahoe model struck the pedestrian and fled the scene immediately after.
 
Soon after, deputies reached the scene and found the victim with fatal injuries. At this time, the authorities need the public’s help in finding the hit-and-run driver.
