Man Dies in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Normandie Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 7, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Normandie Avenue near Jon Street Saturday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a possible black SUV struck a male pedestrian north of Jon Street.
 
Shortly after, the driver left the scene, leaving the victim with severe injuries. As a result of his injuries, paramedics tended to the victim who, despite life-saving efforts, died shortly after.
 
At this time, the victim’s name and the whereabouts of the hit-and-run suspect have not been confirmed. However, those with information should contact LAPD Detective Moreno or Officer Balderas at 323-421-2500.
