Man Dies in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Normandie Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 9, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Normandie Avenue at 212th Street on Sunday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 7:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a man in his 40s and fled the scene.
Shortly after, a passerby began performing CPR on the severely injured man. However, the victim, whose name has not been released, succumbed to his injury moments later.
At this time, officers have no insight into the suspect involved in the fatal hit-and-run. However, they are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for anyone who can lead authorities to the driver.
