Man Dies in Pomona Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Mission Boulevard

 
POMONA, CA (July 27, 2021) — A man died in Friday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Mission Boulevard and La Mesa Street.
 
According to the Pomona Police Department, the crash happened around 11:48 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the victim as the pedestrian was crossing the street in an unknown direction.
 
Shortly after, officers arrived at the scene and contacted paramedics for the victim. Unfortunately, the man died as a result of his injuries.
