Man Dies in Hesperia Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Locust Avenue

 
HESPERIA, CA (April 9, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Locust Avenue near Mauna Loa Street Wednesday evening.
 
According to Sheriff’s officials, the deadly accident happened around 8:53 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, an unknown driver struck a man in the road. Soon after, the driver fled the scene after the impact.
 
As a result of the crash, the victim, described as a Hispanic male adult, died around 9:00 p.m. Authorities have withheld his name pending notification of family members.
