Man Dies in Head-On Accident With Semi-Truck on Highway 395 in Susanville

 
SUSANVILLE, CA (June 3, 2022) — A man died in a head-on crash with a big rig on Highway 395 near Karlo Road on Friday.
 
According to the Susanville California Highway Patrol Communication Center, the two-vehicle accident happened around 10:38 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver in a Toyota 4Runner SUV collided head-on with a big rig.
 
Shortly after, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the scene, but the driver of the Toyota 4-Runner succumbed to his injuries.
 
The big rig driver, who appeared visibly upset, declined medical care.
