Man Dies in City of Industry Head-On Crash at Lemon Avenue

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (September 16, 2021) — A man died in a head-on accident at Lemon Avenue and Currier Road Tuesday night.
 
According to reports, the fatal incident happened around 7:39 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver speeding eastbound on Currier Road lost control and entered the westbound lanes. Subsequently, the speeding car collided with an SUV.
 
Tragically, a passenger in the speeding car, described as a male, died in the accident. The driver, however, suffered lacerations to his arms and hands and a broken leg. Meanwhile, the SUV driver only complained of pain in his chest and legs.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the factors that played a role in the accident. However, anyone with more information should contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
