Early Morning Fiery Crash on Olive Drive in Bakersfield Involves Two Vehicles
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 21, 2021) – A man was killed in a fiery accident at Olive Drive and Jewetta Avenue in northwest Bakersfield early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 3:50 a.m. on April 20. According to the California Highway Patrol, two cars collided after one of them ran a red light. The impact caused one vehicle to burst into flames.
As a result, the man driving the burned vehicle died at the scene. The other driver, a man in his 40s, sustained minor injuries.
At this time, it is still unclear which of the men was at fault.
