RV Fire on Hartman Drive in Ventura Leaves Man Dead

 
VENTURA, CA (April 12, 2022) – A man died in a fiery accident at Hartman Drive and Main Street in Ventura on Thursday morning.
 
The fire started around 9:38 a.m. on April 7. According to the Ventura Police Department, a recreational vehicle caught fire in a parking lot in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they found black smoke emanating from the area. Firefighters extinguished the flames within an hour.
 
Sadly, the fire killed one man inside the RV. Authorities did not release the victim’s identity.
 
A male bystander was transported to Ventura County Medical Center for smoke inhalation.
 
At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
