Fatal DUI Rollover Accident on Highway 4 in Antioch

 
ANTIOCH, CA (May 10, 2022) — A man died in a DUI rollover crash on Highway 4 near Highway 160 on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident took place around 11:50 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, a 42-year-old woman driving a PT Cruiser lost control. Subsequently, the blue Chrysler veered off the road and rolled over, seriously injuring its multiple occupants.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded to the scene and rushed the patients to nearby hospitals. Per reports, the patients included the 42-year-old female driver who suffered critical life-threatening injuries, a 19-year-old male passenger and two under 18 years old with major injuries.
 
The front seat passenger, described as a 21-year-old man, suffered severe injuries and died later at a hospital.
 
At this time, police have not released the fatal victim’s name and other factors that played a role in the accident.
