Man Dies in DUI Pedestrian Crash on Via Santiago in Corona

 
CORONA, CA (August 1, 2022)— A man died in a DUI pedestrian accident on Via Santiago and Avenida Del Vista on July 13.
 
According to the Corona Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened at 9:40 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a man crossing the intersection was hit by a DUI driver.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought the injured victim to a hospital where he died. At the scene, officers arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI and vehicular homicide.
 
At this time, investigators have not released the victim’s name and the details of the crash. However, if anyone has more information, please call the authorities.
