Early Morning Pedestrian Accident on Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City Turns Deadly, Driver Arrested for DUI

 
CULVER CITY, CA (July 13, 2021) – A man died in a DUI pedestrian accident on Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City early Monday morning
 
The accident happened around 1:10 a.m. on July 12., just south of Venice Boulevard. According to the Culver City Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities withheld his identity pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained on scene. Police later determined that they were under the influence of alcohol and subsequently placed them under arrest.
 
Crews closed Sepulveda Boulevard between Venice Boulevard and Washington Place for the investigation.
