Man Dies in Anaheim DUI Multi-Car Crash on Ball Road

ANAHEIM, CA (December 6, 2021) — A man died in a DUI car accident on Ball Road at Magnolia Avenue on Sunday morning.
 
According to Anaheim Police, the fatal three-car crash happened around 1:53 a.m. For DUI-related reasons, a man driving a black Nissan Murano westbound on Ball Road failed to stop at a red light. Subsequently, the Nissan struck a black 2016 Honda Accord, carrying three 30-year-old men and one 49-year-old man.
 
As a result of the impact, one of the vehicles slammed into a Toyota Camry, stopped at the intersection, facing Magnolia Avenue.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and confirmed that the 49-year-old man in the Honda suffered fatal injuries. Meanwhile, investigators interviewed the Nissan driver, whom they arrested soon after for drinking and driving.
 
At this time, the three people in the Honda are recovering at a hospital with minor injuries. If anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the Anaheim Police.
