Man Dies in Elverta DUI Motorcycle Crash on Elverta Road

 
ELVERTA, CA (March 4, 2021) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Elverta Road near 16th Street Wednesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 6:55 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a white pickup truck and a 61-year-old motorcyclist collided just east of 16th Street.
 
As a result of the impact, the man was ejected from his bike and died at the scene.
 
Following the accident, the 27-year-old truck driver from Citrus Heights underwent an on-site investigation. According to authorities, DUI likely played a role in the accident. However, the crash remains under investigation.
