Car Accident at Northridge and Overhill Drives in Windsor Hills Area Ends in Fatality

 
WINDSOR HILLS, CA (July 19, 2022) – A man died in a car accident at Northridge Drive and Overhill Drive in the unincorporated Windsor Hills area on Sunday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 p.m. just east of La Brea Avenue. The California Highway Patrol did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but officers confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available pending family notification.
 
Crews closed Overhill Drive between Stocker Street and Northridge Drive until around 10:30 p.m. for the investigation.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The exact number of involved parties was also not indicated.
