Scooter Rider Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Car on Linda Vista Road in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 1, 2021) – A man riding a scooter suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Linda Vista Road in San Diego on Monday afternoon.
 
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on November 29. According to the San Diego Police Department, the 38-year-old man was riding his scooter in the northbound bike lane in the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road. A black Cadillac sedan veered to the right and struck him.
 
After the crash, the driver of the sedan fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The man suffered a broken nose, fractured shoulder and cuts on his face. Paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment.
 
The SDPD Traffic Division is still investigating the accident.
