Man Hospitalized in Pedestrian Accident on Etiwanda Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (March 30, 2022) — A man suffered moderate injuries in a pedestrian accident on Etiwanda Avenue near Fourth Street on Friday.
According to deputies with the Rancho Cucamonga police, the pedestrian accident happened around 9:52 p.m. After receiving calls about a pedestrian walking on the road, deputies reached the reported area to find that the man had been struck by a vehicle.
Due to the crash, the 28-year-old victim suffered a broken arm and internal injuries, urging paramedics to bring him to a hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, deputies learned that the pedestrian ran into the road and into the path of an oncoming vehicle. As for the driver, he or she tried to avoid the looming crash, but the accident occurred anyhow.
