CHULA VISTA, CA (June 2, 2022) – A man sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Third Avenue on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the incident happened on June 1, at about 8:35 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit a man that was pushing a shopping cart near Palomar Street.
 
Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening internal injuries. As per reports, the man was in stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
