ORANGE, CA (April 8, 2022) — A male adult suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Struck Avenue at around 6:48 a.m. on Thursday, April 7.
 
According to reports, a male adult drove a Toyota pickup truck east on Struck Avenue. Then it turned north at Batavia Street where it hit a man walking east on the crosswalk.
 
The pedestrian sustained major injuries. Paramedics arrived and then rushed him to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
The driver stopped near Katella Avenue and Batavia Street.
 
Officials do not believe alcohol or drugs are a factor for the driver.
