SAN DIEGO, CA (April 12, 2021) – A man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident in the 7007 block of Friars Road on April 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Fashion Valley mall around 4:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 30-year-old man just stepped into a crosswalk from a parking structure to the mall. Due to unknown reasons, a blue or black Chevrolet Blazer struck the man. Subsequently, the Chevy fled the scene, without rendering aid to the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. Emergency crews transported him to a hospital with multiple serious injuries including fractures.
