Man Hospitalized in Pedestrian Crash on Bradley Road in Somis
SOMIS, CA (December 15, 2022) — A man suffered major injuries in a pedestrian accident on Bradley Road near Dusty Lane.
According to reports, the pedestrian accident happened around 4:16 p.m. Sunday. For possible DUI-related reasons, a 30-year-old Oxnard man was walking inside the traffic lanes at the time a northbound 1996 Jeep Cherokee struck him. The unidentified pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Los Robles Regional Health Center for immediate care.
The 22-year-old Fillmore man driving the Jeep stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. However, although police ruled out DUI on his part, authorities learned that the pedestrian might have consumed alcohol after attending a party nearby.
