Man Hurt in Multi-Car Crash on Highway 101

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (November 10, 2021) — A man suffered serious injuries in a multi-car accident on Highway 101 near Highway 12 on Monday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the car accident happened around 10:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a Tesla, driven by a Santa Rosa woman, spun out before it came to a stop facing the wrong direction.
 
Subsequently, a Saturn, driven by a Santa Rosa man, struck the front of the Tesla and collided with a Pontiac.
 
Shortly after, firefighters responded and extricated the man from his Saturn vehicle. Due to his injuries, they brought him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. As for the Tesla and Pontiac drivers, both of them suffered no injuries in a crash.
 
At this time, investigators have ruled out intoxication as a possible source of the accident. However, any witnesses with information should contact the California Highway Patrol.
