BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 15, 2022) — A man sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Morning Drive near Highway 178 on Friday.
 
According to Bakersfield Police, officers responded to Morning Drive around 11:00 p.m. regarding a motorcycle accident. Just south of Highway 178, officers found a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
 
Soon after, paramedics brought the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
 
During the investigation, officers learned that the motorcyclist lost control of the bike on Morning Drive and was ejected. It is possible that speed and alcohol played a factor in this crash.
