Motorcyclist Suffers Multiple Fractures after Struck by Car in Pacific Beach

 
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (May 31, 2022) – A 51-year-old man was injured in a motorcycle accident at Grand Avenue and Fanuel Street in Pacific Beach on Friday afternoon, May 27.
 
The accident happened around 3:35 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department. The victim was riding his motorcycle north on Fanuel Street.
 
The 31-year-old male driver of a Ford Mustang, heading south, attempted a left turn onto Grand Avenue – violating the motorcyclist’s right of way.
 
The Mustang then struck the motorcyclist, leaving him with multiple fractures, but non-life threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Mustang was unharmed.
 
Police do not suspect alcohol or drug use as a factor in the collision. The department’s Traffic Division is investigating.
