NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 25, 2021) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Lankershim Boulevard near Hartsook Street Monday morning, July 19.
 
According to reports, the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Per a surveillance video camera, a driver struck a male pedestrian just after doing several loops on the road. As a result, the man suffered serious injuries to his leg.
 
In the investigation, officers say the victim engaged in some type of verbal altercation with three to four people. Shortly after, that’s when one of them drove a black SUV into the pedestrian. Instead of staying at the scene to help, the driver left the area.
