Man Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Jennifer Avenue

 
NORTHWEST FRESNO, CA (August 30, 2021) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Jennifer Avenue at Shaw Avenue.
 
According to reports, the incident happened just before midnight on Friday. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck a man walking in the road at the time.
 
Authorities did not confirm if the victim was crossing the street at the time of the collision, however. Due to the nature of the crash, the man suffered several broken bones and a collapsed lung. As for the driver, he or she fled the scene toward Northwest Fresno.
 
At this time, authorities plan to investigate this case. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver, please contact the Fresno Police.
