Man Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country
CANYON COUNTRY, CA (May 11, 2023) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Soledad Canyon Road and Sierra Highway.
According to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials, the hit-and-run happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a driver of a white Acura left the scene after hitting a 49-year-old pedestrian crossing the street.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries in the accident. Minutes later, paramedics took him to a local hospital for treatment.
