Man Hospitalized in Long Beach Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Wardlow Road
LONG BEACH, CA (June 13, 2022) — A man suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Wardlow Road near Lemon Avenue on Wednesday.
According to authorities, the hit-and-run bicycle accident happened around 2:30 p.m. In the 1100 block of East Wardlow Road, a driver in an unknown make and model struck a bicyclist.
Rather than stopping to pull over, the driver left the scene, leaving the male adult with injuries to his upper body.
Shortly after, Long Beach fire Personnel reached the scene and brought the seriously injured man to a local hospital for treatment.
