Man Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Concord Boulevard in Concord

 
CONCORD, CA (January 5, 2023) — A man suffered an injury in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Concord Boulevard near Farm Bureau Road.
 
According to Concord Police, the hit-and-run accident happened on December 21 around 10:25 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a truck failed to stop after hitting a man on a bike.
 
As the truck fled eastbound on Concord Boulevard, the cyclist was left alone with major injuries. Soon after, paramedics brought the victim to a hospital from where he was discharged on December 30.
 
At this time, police are looking for a silver or gray 2000 – 2008 Toyota Tundra with an extended cab. Officers believe the truck might have minor damage to its front.
