Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Accident on Turk Street in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 4, 2021) – A man suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident in the 1200 block of Turk Street on July 29.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 11:35 PM.
Based on reports, the man was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a box truck struck him. Then, the truck driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
As a result, the 41-year-old victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment.
Detailed descriptions of the truck and its driver were not immediately available. At this point, this hit-and-run accident on Turk Street is still under investigation. In addition, officials ask anyone with information to call the San Francisco Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444.
