LA JOLLA, CA (July 6, 2021) — A man was injured in a DUI bicycle accident on Torrey Pines Road near Muir College Drive Saturday night.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the bicycle crash happened around 9:00 p.m. near UC-San Diego. For DUI-related reasons, a 45-year-old woman in a 2020 Lexus NX300 drifted into the bike lane. Subsequently, her Lexus slammed into a 56-year-old man riding a bike.
 
As a result, the bicyclist suffered multiple facial injuries, and police arrested the woman on suspicion of DUI.
