Man Hospitalized, Drivers Crash into Big Rig on Highway 99 in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 20, 2022) — A man was injured after two cars crashed into a big rig on Highway 99 near Norris Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 6:37 a.m. Wednesday.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a big rig and two cars crashed in the northbound lanes of Highway 99. One man reported that he could not feel his legs as he was trapped in his vehicle.
 
Authorities responded soon after and paramedics began administering aid to the man trapped in his car.
