PASADENA, CA (May 10, 2021)— A man was injured in a bicycle accident on Congress Street near Fair Oaks Avenue Wednesday night.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the crash happened around 8:00 p.m. in the 2300 block of Congress Street. Under unclear circumstances, a 57-year-old cyclist collided with a vehicle that was attempting a U-turn in Old Town Pasadena.
 
Per reports, the 30-year-old man driving the southbound car remained at the scene for investigation. However, authorities have yet to determine where the fault lies.
 
At this time, the victim remains hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. If anyone has more information on this accident, please contact the San Diego Police Department.
