IRVINE, CA (February 18, 2022) – Paramedics sent a man to the hospital following a big rig accident on 5 Freeway on February 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just north of Alton Parkway around 10:05 PM.
Based on a report, a gold 2009 Toyota Camry collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. However, the details that led to the crash were not immediately available.
 
As a result, the solo male driver suffered injuries in the incident. Firefighter paramedics treated the man on the scene and transported him to Mission Hospital in apparently stable condition. The driver of the big rig was not hurt.
