Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Palmdale Road near Bellflower Street in Adelanto

ADELANTO, CA (February 27, 2025) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Palmdale Road, Tuesday evening.

According to the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, the incident happened on February 25, at about 7:07 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the area of Bellflower Street.

Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.

Responders temporarily closed Palmdale Road between Bellflower Street and Verbena Road to make way for an investigation. As per reports, deputies were trying to determine if the victim was struck by other vehicles.
