Man Struck, Killed by Trailer on Tujunga Avenue in North Hollywood

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 2, 2022) — A man was hit and killed by a trailer on Tujunga Avenue near Riverside Drive on Monday.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a Toyota Tundra and a 28-year-old man engaged in some type of altercation.
 
Subsequently, the man climbed onto the left wheel well of the driver’s trailer, attached to the Tundra. For unknown reasons, the driver moved forward, causing the trailer to hit a concrete barrier. As a result, the man fell onto the ground and the left wheel of the trailer ran over him.
 
Soon after, Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead. His name has been withheld pending notification of family members.
 
At this time, information related to the circumstances and cause of the accident requires further examination. However, anyone with information should contact the LAPD.
