LA Bureau of Sanitation Truck Fatally Strikes Man on Burbank Boulevard in Sherman Oaks

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (January 26, 2023) – A man was hit and killed by a sanitation truck on Burbank Boulevard in Sherman Oaks neighborhood on Wednesday, January 25.
 
Around noon, a Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation truck hit the man in a residential area on the 15100 block of Burbank Boulevard.
 
The victim, believed to be homeless at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
It was not clear on Wednesday whether the victim was in the road or along a sidewalk or other location when he was struck.

The Los Angeles Police Department is handling the investigation.
