Man Struck, Killed by Metro Red Line Train on Hollywood Boulevard

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (December 14, 2021) — A man was hit and killed by a Metro Red Line train on Hollywood Boulevard near Argyle Avenue Sunday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the deadly incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a man either fell, was pushed or jumped in front of the Metro Red Line train. Soon after, authorities responded to find the man’s body at the scene, later calling the county coroner’s office.
 
Due to the investigation, officials escorted passengers off the train and other people from the station.
 
At this time, the crash requires further investigation. Therefore, anyone with more information should contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
