Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills

 
ANAHEIM HILLS, CA (August 25, 2021) — A man was hit and killed by a car on the 91 Freeway near Highway 241 Thursday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident happened sometime around Thursday evening. For unknown reasons, the Long Beach man decided to run across the 91 Freeway but an oncoming driver struck him before fleeing the scene.
 
Prior to the incident, police believe his vehicle might have broken down. After pulling over near the median just west of the toll road, his passengers exited the car and were able to cross the lanes successfully. However, as he attempted, the incident had occurred.
 
At this time, the fatal victim’s identity has not been released. However, officials have described him as a 26-year-old man. If anyone has more information on this hit-and-run driver or the vehicle involved, please contact the CHP.
