Man Electrocuted, Dies at Work Site on Manning Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (May 18, 2023) — A man was electrocuted and killed at a job site on Manning Avenue near Bethel Avenue.
 
According to Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the deadly incident happened at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
 
For unknown reasons, a worker was electrocuted while working. Soon after, Fresno County sheriff’s deputies and PG&E workers arrived at the scene. They determined that the worker was in an elevated boom that may have made contact with live electrical wires.
 
PG&E had to shut off the electricity before accessing the victim. The unidentified worker, only described as a man, died in the incident.
 
At this time, authorities do not have the victim’s name. But authorities will determine the man’s name and the leading cause of the incident through an investigation.
