Man Dead in Merced Pedestrian Crash near Yosemite Parkway

 
MERCED, CA (November 29, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident near Yosemite Parkway and Almond Avenue on Friday afternoon.
 
According to Merced Police, the deadly accident happened around 6:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a silver Ford Focus struck the 44-year-old male pedestrian.
 
Soon after, officers responded and confirmed that the pedestrian had died from his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, police interviewed the 20-year-old woman who cooperated with the investigation.
