SACRAMENTO, CA (November 11, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Norwood Avenue and Bell Avenue.
 
The Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of a pedestrian accident in North Sacramento around 6:40 p.m. Upon arriving, officers learned that a man sustained serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle. Paramedics arrived and transported the patient to the hospital where he passed away.
 
Authorities have yet to release the victim’s name.
 
Due to the crash, police urged drivers to avoid Norwood Avenue and Bell Avenue as they investigated. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
