Man Hit, Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 41 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (October 6, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 41 near McKinley Avenue on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 5:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a male pedestrian was walking on the center median near McKinley Avenue.
 
Subsequently, a 25-year-old man from Kerman driving a Toyota Scion struck the man when he wandered into his path of travel.
 
As a result of the crash, the man suffered fatal injuries.
 
Following the crash, the driver stayed for the investigation. He did not appear to be under the influence at the time of the crash, according to authorities.
