Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Etiwanda Avenue
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (December 30, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Etiwanda Avenue near Arrow Route on December 27.
According to the Rancho Cucamonga police station, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 4:47 a.m. For unknown reasons, a man walking northbound on Etiwanda Avenue stepped in front of a northbound 1999 Ford F-150.
As a result, the 55-year-old Fontana man operating the Ford had minimal chance to evade the imminent accident and struck the pedestrian.
Soon after, police and paramedics responded to the scene and learned that the man succumbed to his injuries.
Following the crash, police interviewed the driver for more information.
