Man Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on Auburn Street

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 15, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Auburn Street near Catalina Drive Saturday evening.
 
According to reports, emergency responders arrived around 6:15 p.m. for the accident. For unknown reasons, a driver in an unknown make and model struck a male pedestrian on the road. Soon after, medical responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
In the investigation, officers ruled out impairment and speed as possible factors in the accident.
