FRESNO, CA (February 8, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle crash on Blackstone Avenue at Griffith Way on Monday morning.
 
According to Fresno police officers, officers began receiving calls about a black car chasing a motorcycle around 9:00 a.m.
 
Shortly after, police arrived at the scene and learned that the previously reported black car had collided with the motorcyclist before erupting in flames.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought the motorcycle rider to a hospital with significant injuries. However, despite having received life-saving efforts, the man died.
 
At this time, officers have the driver of the black car detained. However, an ongoing homicide investigation into this crash should confirm more details.
